A worksite vegan nutrition program can be implemented by employers as a wellness intervention strategy to improve health, quality of life, and work results of employees. The health advantages to consuming a plant-based diet are many.

Vegetarians are less likely to become overweight and have lower risk of diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and even some cancers later in life.
